Merrill Corporation Named One of Selling Power’s “50 Best Companies to Sell For” in 2017

Sep 07, 2017

Merrill Corporation (, a global provider of secure content sharing, regulated communications and disclosure services, has been recognized among Selling Power magazine’s “50 Best Companies to Sell For” in 2017. This is the 17th consecutive year that Selling Power has assembled and published its ’50 Best’ list, and the first time that Merrill has received this widely-known and respected ranking.

The Selling Power list encompasses revenue organizations of all sizes, with teams ranging from fewer than one hundred sales representatives to companies with thousands. To determine the rankings, Selling Power evaluated hundreds of applications that focused on three broad categories:

  • Compensation and Benefits
  • Hiring, Sales Training, and Sales Enablement
  • Customer Retention

“This is such a wonderful team achievement for Merrill,” said Todd Albright, Merrill's worldwide chief revenue officer. “Over the past two years, we have thoroughly transformed ourselves into a high-performing global sales organization across team, culture and enablement. We are humbled and honored by Selling Power's recognition of Merrill as a sales leader alongside so many other highly-respected global companies on this prestigious list.”

Selling Power magazine founder and publisher Gerhard Gschwandtner says that it is vital to recognize companies that are creating excellent sales teams today. “Salespeople face great challenges in a digital era,” says Gschwandtner. “As I have reported at the Sales 3.0 Conference and in Selling Power magazine, not only is it harder to get the attention of customers in an age of distractions, but many simple sales jobs are also becoming obsolete due to advances in technology. To succeed, salespeople need the support of great leadership and management. The companies that appear on the Selling Power “50 Best Companies to Sell For” list represent great opportunities for salespeople who are motivated to win and focused on success.”
