M&A Deal Value in Asia Pacific Totals US$65.3 Billion in April 2016

Merrill Corporation and Thomson Reuters bring you the top M&A financial advisor’s league table for April 2016, which covers the APAC, including Japan. The summary also provides insight into the biggest deals in the region.

Asia Pacific & Japan deal making activity in April slowed down, and saw a 46.1% decrease in value compared to the monthly volume in March 2016 (US$121.2 billion). Therefore, despite a 2.9% increase in number of announced deals, deal value has declined by 8.9%, compared to last year's year-to-date.
