Challenge

The firm decided to updates its corporate identity from an all black print design to a high impact multi-colored logo, which required a worldwide rebranding campaign for employees on six continents. The first phase required new business cards, stationery and marketing collateral to locations around the world within a very short delivery window. Merrill was chosen to manage the printing and execution of the campaign.

Solution and Results.

The company formed a cross-functional group that included members of marketing, purchasing, operations, its design firm and Merrill. Merrill provided comprehensive project resources to support the campaign in the following ways:

  • Design review. During the design review, Merrill's print experts provided practical advice on how to achieve the highest quality results in the most cost-effective manner. Merrill also helped optimize stationery designs to accommodate a range of layout and print scenarios.
  • Develop an achievable project plan. Merrill helped the company develop a working budget and timeline including scope, resource requirements and delivery dates.
  • Information gathering. Merrill helped the company streamline the process of collecting employee information for business cards by creating a secure system interface between their systems and Merrill's systems.

The relaunch campaign took place on time, within budget as planned, and was well received by the entire company.
