Responsibilities
DataSite is a leading virtual deal room website developed by and hosted by Merrill Corporation. DataSite is used internationally by financial professionals for managing access to highly sensitive financial transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, asset sales and divestitures.
This position supports internal customer service staff, production, developers, and the clients who use DataSite. It requires broad technical skills and excellent customer relationship skills. The working environment is fast paced, high energy, and geared towards creative problem solvers who thrive under pressure.
Teamwork, prioritization and communication are essential in this role. You will need to prioritize amongst the other team members as well as your active projects and problems. You will need to fully communicate problem statuses to prevent any issues from not receiving appropriate attention. You will need to sensitively communicate with sales and their clients to meet their expectations balanced with product capabilities and production requirements.
You must be enthusiastically committed to joining a dedicated, 24x7x365 tech support team responsible for supporting an equally demanding client base.
Qualifications
Uses established procedures and works under immediate supervision. Works is routine and instructions are usually detailed. Little evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required. Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of particular field of specialization.
Bachelors degree preferred. Minimum 1-2 years professional information technology experience.
