Merrill Discovery Navigator™ Offers Clients Enhanced Productivity through V1.4 Release
Merrill Discovery Navigator is a Web-based information management system that provides customized, anytime, anywhere, multiple-party access to discovery databases.
St. Paul, Minn. Merrill Corporation (www.merrillcorp.com), a global diversified communications and document services provider, today announced the release of Merrill Discovery Navigator version 1.4, the latest in several recent releases designed to enhance client productivity in reviewing discovery documents. Merrill Discovery Navigator is a Web-based information management system that provides customized, anytime, anywhere, multiple-party access to discovery databases. The volume of pages hosted on the Merrill Discovery Navigator repository has grown by over 30 million pages in the last six months alone.
Merrill Discovery Navigator incorporates the Convera RetrievalWare search engine, providing users with the greatest available precision when searching for mission-critical documents. Version 1.4 introduces a new method of database indexing that optimizes search runtime for document text searches and searches that retrieve large sets of documents. Overall search response time has increased up to 10 times faster, with the most dramatic improvements in searches retrieving greater than 40,000 documents.
The release also includes enhanced administrative rights including the ability for designated users to create review assignments and assign production Bates numbers. These enhancements give users greater control to manage the overall workflow of their case and manage production of selected documents.
