Merrill Corporation Acquires Court Recording Services in Australia
Acquisition Extends Merrill’s Legal Services Offering

St. Paul, Minn. — Merrill Corporation, a leading provider of outsourcing solutions for various complex business communication and information management needs, today announced WordWave International Pty Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Merrill, has completed the acquisition of Court Recording Services (CRS), a leading provider of court recording and transcription services to various judiciary and governmental clients in Australia, Hong Kong and other international locations.

This addition to Merrill’s existing court recording and transcription business makes Merrill the largest provider of recording and transcription services in Australia. The acquisition follows Merrill’s January 2006 acquisition of WordWave, Inc, a global provider of litigation support, court reporting, captioning and transcription services for law firms, courts, governmental agencies and corporations.
