Merrill Corporation Announces Strategic Alliance With Animation Technologies
Relationship Expands Scope of Legal Services

St. Paul, Minn. - Merrill Corporation, a leading global supplier of diversified communications and document services, today announced a strategic alliance with Animation Technologies Inc., a litigation consulting firm specializing in the development of visual strategies and creation of customized presentations. The business relationship combines Merrill's litigation support and discovery services with computer-based graphic solutions to expand and enhance service to clients.

"This is another great step toward expanding our solution stack," said Allen McNee, president of Document Management Services at Merrill. "Combined with our current offerings, these additional graphics solutions increase our available products and services and help solidify our client relationships throughout the legal services industry."

Merrill Corporation has traditionally provided a full range of discovery solutions that include paper and electronic processing, review and production. The affiliation with Animation Technologies now allows Merrill to offer dynamic trial support solutions for lawyers, including development and organization of presentation graphics and visual consulting services.

"This new alliance brings together two companies that offer leading technology solutions to the legal marketplace," said Brent Larlee, Animation Technologies vice president. "It allows us to expand our offerings to form a more comprehensive suite of litigation solutions. By providing an integrated approach, we can continue to respond to the diverse needs of our clients."
