Sr. Business Systems Analyst

Status: Full Time
Shift: 1st shift ( M-F)
Location: MN-St. Paul

Responsibilities

•Responsible for maintenance, modification, and implementation of Oracle 11i Financials Modules. •Ability to translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions. • Act as a strategic partner between the user community and the technical applications development staff. • Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly. Includes resolving TAR’s (Technical Assistance Requests) with Oracle Support. • Set objectives for project goals and monitor project to achieve those goals. Provide input to management on setting broader implementation goals. • Responsible for leading front end teams to align existing legacy systems and processes to Oracle systems. • Identify business system requirements and related business/application solutions over a complete business process. • Assists in the development of new customizations in design, documentation, testing and training. • Supports end-to-end process testing of Oracle Financial applications prior to user testing (testing includes both standard functionality and custom extensions). • Supports user testing and training. • Drive process improvement through business process definition and system alignment.

Qualifications

Must have at least 5+ years of professional experience performing business analysis in a corporate enterprise environment using Oracle Financials (Release 11i) as part of an implementation team in the finance or accounting field. Requires excellent written and oral communications skills to effectively define business and technical parameters and lead on and offshore technical team efforts/implementations to meet business requirements. Success in this role also requires excellent organizational and project management skills and a demonstrated proficiency using MS Office applications.

Bachelors degree. Minimum 5-8 years professional finance, systems or related professional experience.
