Merrill Corporation Sweeps Gallery of Superb Printing Awards in Boston
The Boston Litho and Craftman’s Club hosted the 27th Annual Gallery of Superb Printing in May 2004.

The Boston Litho and Craftman’s Club hosted the 27th Annual Gallery of Superb Printing in May 2004. This event allows local printing and finishing companies to submit their best work for the calendar year to be judged by an independent panel of judges from the printing community.

Merrill/Daniels, Merrill Corporation’s commercial print division, submitted 19 entries in various categories. Of the 19 entries submitted, 16 were honored, including seven first place finishes, three second place, four third place and two honorable mentions. This is an unprecedented accomplishment of honors to the number of entries submitted.

Perhaps more impressive is the fact that Merrill swept several categories including "Sheetfed Annual Reports, 36 pages and up, 5 or more colors" winning 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and honorable mention.

Another strong category was "Catalogs, 32 pages and up, 5 or more colors" with Merrill/Daniels taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishes. The grand slam was in the "Brochures, bound, 5 or more process colors" category with Merrill/Daniels taking 1st, 2nd, 3rd and honorable mention finishes.

Other first place finishes were awarded in the categories of Hard Bound books of 4 or more process colors, Catalogs of up to 32 pages plus cover, 5 or more colors, Calendars, multi-pages, 5 or more colors, and Presentation Folders, multi-color with foil/embossing.

This outstanding recognition of Merrill/Daniels' capabilities reinforces our commitment to excellence in high-end commercial printing. It is also a testimony to the quality and caliber of the Merrill/Daniels employees and their commitment to achieve the best possible product for our clients.
